National Scholarship
Liz Boatwright Memorial Scholarship
The AST recognizes the importance of student enrollment in Surgical Technology programs. Financial costs can be prohibitive and this is recognized as well. Therefore, the Board has established the "Liz Boatwright Memorial Scholarship," which will be administered by the Foundation of Surgical Technology.
Scholarships shall only be made available to students currently enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program, who are current members of AST, and who are residents of South Carolina. Applicants must submit the appropriate Foundation of Surgical Technology Scholarship application within the published time frame.
Applications are available at www.ffst.org .
Recipients of the scholarship will be determined by the Foundation of Surgical Technology Scholarship Committee and will be notified by said committee. Military scholarships also available.
